The Girl Who Wanted To Be a Butterfly



Once upon a time there was a dreamy and happy girl named Alondra. Every afternoon after finishing her homework, Alondra would go outside to play.  But one day,  she was amazed watching a red butterfly, it was beautiful and it was flying freely between the trees. 
Alondra asked herself; “How my life would be if I was a butterfly? I could fly anywhere! I wouldn't have to do any more homework or go to school!.”
Every afternoon, Alonda would sit on the grass and just watch the butterflies fly around her. She was sad but she knew her wish would never become true. A tear rolled down her cheek and in that moment there was a big radiance, and in front of her appeared a woman dressed in a purple dress, she was beautiful and her hair was dark and long. 
Alondra asked her surprised : “Who are you?”, And she replied:  “My name is Ariel, I am a nymph and I know about your wish about becoming a butterfly. I can make your wish come true but I need to know if you are sure about becoming a butterfly,  
– Yes!  I am completely sure. There is nothing I wish more in this world - answered Alondra determined.
In that moment, the nymph said a couple of words in her language and Alondra became a beautiful blue butterfly. 
– Thank you Ariel, you make me so happy! -said Ariel 
Alondra  started flying and in the way, she encountered other two butterflies, one yellow and the other was green. She flied fast between them showing off her wings.
– It must be your first day. It its exciting at first but then you get tired of flying - said the yellow butterfly
– I will never get tired of being  a butterfly. Actually I could be one for 80 years - responded Alondra
– 80 years!? Ha! Like we could live that long– said the green butterfly
- How much butterflies can live? – asked Alondra concerned
– With luck, one week - said the green butterfly 
The following day, Alondra wasn't as happy to be a butterfly, flying wasn't that exciting anymore and she started missing her family and friends. 
Suddenly, Ariel appeared and noticed that Alondra was crying. "What's wrong, Alondra? Why are you crying?, Are you not happy to be a butterfly anymore?"
– Honestly, no, Ariel. It was fun for a day but I miss my life as a girl. - said Alondra sadly
– Do you wish to be a girl, again? – Asked Ariel
– Yes, plese –
And like that, Ariel turned Alondra back  into a girl and she never wanted to a butterfly ever again.

La Niña Que Quería Ser Mariposa

Erase una vez una niña soñadora y alegre; su nombre era Alondra.  Todas las tardes luego de terminar las tareas de la escuela, Alondra salía al patio a jugar. Trotimín Se Va A Nueva York

Trotimín se fue de viaje a la ciudad de Nueva York, también conocida como "La Gran Manzana". Trotimín estaba impresionado con lo alto de los edificios,  los cientos de letreros  y luces en Times Square y la gran cantidad de personas de todas las razas y culturas que se encontraban allí. Trotimín dió un paseo en bote, desde donde vió La Estatua de la Libertad. -"¡Qué bonita es esta ciudad!" - exclamaba Trotimín mientras sacaba fotos con su cámara. Trotimín visitó luego el Central Park, se comió un pedazo de pizza al estilo Nueva York  y al caer la noche caminó por las calles de Times Square hasta llegar al lugar donde se encuentra la famosa bola que desciende cada vez que recibimos un nuevo año. Kacy Y El Mundo De Los Dulces

Kacy parecía una típica niña de 7 años. Tenía muchos amigos, se la pasaba jugando en el patio y le encantan los dulces, toda clase de dulces: chocolates, paletas, bombones, bizcochos, lo que te puedas imaginar.
